Hotel History and othere informations:At
the time, one of the honorable men, Sir Sami, worked at Eastern. Having
retired, he, his wife and his children came to an old konak (old Turkish
house) left as an inheritence by his father near Blue Mosque in Istanbul.
Sir Sami who had sensible personality ruined the old konak and had
the current konak built in 1870. The stones which was used for constructing
the konak brought the various places of Turkey by Sir Sami. Region
dwellers started to call as Stone House or Tash Konak due to the reliable
special stones of the konak. And it has been called as Tash Konak
since 1870. The hotel takes the name from this real history.
Tash Konak was restored in 1997 and opened your service. Hotel's Garden
