Dr. Adnan Sari (1965), mountain guide: Medical doctor Adnan was born and raised in the Kackar mountains, near the Eastern part of the Black Sea . He satisfies his passion for the mountains by guiding some of our groups. If he still has free time, "Adik" goes to mountains with his friend Yüksel. Vedat Aydin , mountain guide We introduced him always as the youngest member of our team, but since Eren Yildirim has started in the team, he is not anymore. But Vedat has much experience n the Turkish mountains as he had already climbed up all known mountains in Turkey. Rock climbing is his hobby and is now training in his free times studies in the Alpine club of the University in Antalya. Vedat speaks German and English. Yildirim Beyazit Öztürk (1972), mountain guide: In addition to our Mt. Ararat expeditions, he trains mountain guides for the Association of the Turkish mountaineers.He is a good friend of Mustafa and a professional skiing teacher. He is our guide for Mt. Ararat for ski tours and Summer climbs.... He loves climbing mountains with ski. |

Mustafa Tekin (1976),
mountain guide: He comes from the Palandöken mountains in Erzurum , and has a great experience in the mountains of Turkey . He is a skiing teacher during the Winter season. In the Summer time, he guides our groups to the summit of Mt. Ararat . And in addition to his mountain experience he is an excellent cook. He loves to climb to Mt. Ararat.... |

Caglan Zaimoglu, (1972), mountain guide: Thats what he says;-): my name is pronounced chaalan but my friends call me mountain goat.Since I was a little kid I loved to climb. The love of nature and the mountains were great therefore I used to go to the mountains and camp every time I had a holiday.Then I decided to move away from the biggest city of Turkey to Antalya and started to work as a mountain guide. It was my dream job and now it became realization.I am enjoying my job and that positive effect reflects to my life. Caglan is speaking English... |

Katharina ter Hell (1969), Mountain guide: Katharina has been living in Adrasan next to the Lycian Way since 2002. It is not surprising that, with all her passion for hiking and nature, she knows every single stone around here. Apart from the tours around Adrasan, Katharina also guides hiking tours in all Lycian area and escorts expeditions to Mount Ararat . Katharina speaks English, German, Dutch, Spanish and Turkish. Selcuk Akar (1975), mountain guide and the man in the background: He has studied Physics, but wanted to experience basic natural rules. Like how to get by ski to 15.000 feet and down. The first time this happened automatically, but after we teached him he found out how to do this under self control. And now after all these, he loves this job and has decided to stay with us. And now Selcuk is our man in the background mainly. But you can see him sometimes leading a group in the mountains. Selcuk is speaking very good German and some English. |

Eren Yildirim Yetkin (
on the way of becoming a good montain guide). There is not much to say about him as he is the youngest member in our team and has started 2006. But he is not new in the mountains..... he is a good rock climber, experienced from the university alpine club. As he is young he has enough time to learn and sure we will make an update to ths page after knowing more about him....;-) |
